It became most popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, worn by everyone due to its diversity and memorable symbolism. The subtle puff-sleeve design flatters the figure without emphasizing shoulder width, while the hem is adorned with delicate tassels, adding playful and charming details. Also the mamian skirt features cursive calligraphy, showcasing a carefree style and attitude toward life. Additionally, the hem of the skirt features subtle wave-like patterns, shimmering like ripples.
