Product Description

▪ Set Include: Top + Skirt

▪ Source of Inspiration:

Despite receiving the influence of Manchu rule, Han ethnic group still combined traditional and Manchu culture to create their own style of hanfu. The gorgeous embroidery and complicated accessories on the robes are the key features. With the revival of traditional culture, the Qing style hanfu has once again known by public, and the explosion of the Qing dynasty drama has also allowed it to find its own audience.

Qing Courtyard is inspired by the women of ancient Jin merchants, featuring a tailored yet comfortable design with a soft, non-stretch fabric. The blouse has a slightly loose fit, adorned with intricate embroidery on the neckline, cuffs, and hem. It comes in a variety of colors, including green, deep blue, light blue, and red. Ma mian skirt has a loose hem, making it perfect for mixing and matching with modern wardrobe pieces. Pairing the blouse with casual tops or styling the skirt with contemporary outfits offers versatile options for everyday wear.

The Jin Merchants were a prominent group of traders from Shanxi Province during China's Ming and Qing dynasties, recognized as one of the most influential merchant guilds in Chinese history. Originating in Shanxi, they gained a reputation for their diligence, ingenuity, and unwavering commitment to integrity. The golden era of the Jin Merchants spanned from the mid-Ming to late Qing periods, during which their extensive trade network covered the entire nation and reached as far as Mongolia and Russia. Their business ventures included industries such as salt, banking (pioneering early forms of financial institutions like "piaohao"), tea trade, textiles, and medicinal herbs.
